Job Title: Product Manager – Business Intelligence

About JiBe:

JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined workflows and reducing the usage of email and paper.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Define and drive the BI product vision, roadmap, and success metrics.
  • Align BI initiatives with business goals and user needs across departments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accessibility, visualization, and reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business units (Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.) to gather requirements and prioritize BI features.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.

Execution & Delivery

  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and developers to deliver BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality BI products with intuitive UX and reliable data.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Advocate for data integrity, consistency, and governance best practices.
  • Partner with data teams to ensure robust data pipelines and accurate reporting.

User Enablement & Adoption

  • Promote self-service BI tools and data literacy across the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions, demos, and documentation to support adoption.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor usage, performance, and impact of BI products.
  • Continuously iterate based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in product management, data analytics, or BI.
  • Strong understanding of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing product backlogs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or data-centric products.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and API integrations.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with business strategy.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
