Junior Software Test Engineer

JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined work flows and reducing the usage of email and paper.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Testing efforts

• Understand the Test plan and report the progress.

• Participate in technical reviews.

• Responsible for running of test stages through the entire project/project lifecycle, ensure that the solutions meet the agreed quality objectives and delivery timescales.

• Adhere to reporting requirements and guidelines ensuring reporting is appropriate

• Understand application testing requirements and test strategy

• Responsible for test related documentation and archiving

• Understand and implement agile methodology and practices

Qualifications and Skills

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/MS or equivalent with minimum 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in testing/quality assurance of software products/applications.

• Defining Road Map for Testing Activity, defining testing strategy/Process, Solution Offerings, Technology Consulting and Thought Leadership.

• The ability to think logically.

• Good memory of how software and operating systems work.

• Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently.

• Ability to work well as a team player.

• Problem solving skills.

• Strong customer focus.

• Ability to prioritisze tasks

• Must have analytical skills, good communication skills & proactively doing knowledge transfer
