JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined work flows and reducing the usage of email and paper.

Job Responsibilities

• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.

• Executing tests on software usability.

• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.

• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.

• Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.

• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

• Creating, Enhancing, debugging and Running Test Cases.

• Organizing, monitoring defect management process.

• Handling changes and conducting Regression Testin

• Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues

• Good Understanding of SDLC and STLC

• Ability to effectively prioritize assignments as well as unplanned issues.

• Candidate must have knowledge of Defect reporting, defect tracking tools (Bugzilla, bug tracker Jira, QC)

• Knowledge of Web based application must. (Hands on product Automated testing is preferable)

• Candidate should have SQL database knowledge.

• Responsible for overall QA activities.

• Estimating QA effort required and managing QA team tasks. 

• Handling Major releases, Minor releases and Patch Releases for CDP. 

• Provide technical assistance in automation and code automation if required.

• Plan and Make ready QA environments for testing. Requires Linux, windows basis shell scripting experience.

• Managing & Leading QA Team of more than 10+ QA engineers comprising of automation engineers and Manual QA engineers.

• Liaising with Engineering and Support teams for bug fixes, hot fixes and patch releases 

• Research and develop automation tools for automation testing.

• Mentor QA team members and provide guidance to QA automation. 

Qualifications and Skills

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/MS or equivalent with minimum 18+ years of relevant experience in testing/quality assurance of software products/applications.

• JIBE expects that the candidate for this position will be passionate, strong team player, self-motivated, and focused on quality and timely delivery.

• Any experience on Windows / Cloud / Mobile would be a huge plus

• Should have worked in the capacity of a Test Lead/Manager for minimum 2 plus years

• Should have handled end-to-end testing/QA for large projects/products.

• Strong experience in automation tools like QTP, Selenium, JMeter etc.

• Analyze and report QA test results, project tracking and product release readiness

• Experience in defining Road Map for Testing Activity, defining testing strategy/Process, Solution Offerings, Technology Consulting and Thought Leadership
