Software Test Engineer(Performance)

Job responsibilities

• Well, acquainted with the Performance Testing Test Life Cycle of applications
• Good in performance testing process and preparation of click stream documents of the given business scenarios
• Well acquainted in preparation of Test Plan document
• Should have hands on experience on Performance Monitoring tool for performance testing counter monitoring

• Done various kind of testing like Load, Stress, Scalability, Fail Over, Endurance etc.
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions
• Well acquainted with the Performance Engineering activities
• Generate performance test summary reports for management review

• In-depth Knowledge and expertise in
NFR (Non-Functional Requirement) gathering and Effort Estimation,
Performance Testing Methodologies,
Performance Test Plan,
Performance Test scripting ,
Performance Test Scenario Design and Monitoring,
Performance Test Analysis and Reporting

Qualifications and Skills

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA/MS or equivalent with minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in testing/quality assurance of software products/applications.
  • Any experience on Windows / Cloud / Mobile would be a huge plus
  • Should have handled end-to-end testing/QA for large projects/products.
  • Strong experience in Performance testing
  • The ability to think logically.
  • Good memory of how software and operating systems work.
  • Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
  • Ability to work well as a team player.
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must have analytical skills, good communication skills & proactively doing knowledge transfer
