About JiBe
JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined work flows and reducing the usage of email and paper.
Job Responsibilities
- Expense Management: Accurately book and record company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and coding.
- Vendor Management: Process and record vendor entries, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and verifying vendor details.
- PO, Invoice, and Payment Entries: Create and process Purchase Orders (PO), invoices, and payment entries in accordance with company procedures.
- TDS Preparation: Prepare and maintain TDS deduction sheets, ensuring timely and accurate tax payment, as per regulatory requirements.
- Trial Balance Scrutiny: Scrutinize and analyze trial balances, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled, leading to accurate finalization of accounts.
- Invoice Review & Documentation: Review and verify invoices and supporting documents, ensuring they are in line with company policies and procedures. Ensure correct documentation is maintained for auditing purposes.
- Filing & Recordkeeping: Properly file bills, vouchers, and all relevant documents, maintaining organized and accessible records for future reference.
- Month-End Closure & Audit Assistance: Assist in the monthly closure of books, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately. Provide support during audits, ensuring smooth and efficient audit processes.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, petty cash, cash management, and cash book. Assist with cash flow management and budgeting.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4-6 years of experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including trial balance scrutiny, invoice processing, and TDS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), MS Word, and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
