Responsibilities
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Assist on IT projects, solutions and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
- Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
- Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions.
- Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
- Continuously analyze current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs.
- Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
- Develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups.
- Managed Virtualization Environment using DAAS services like AWS Workspace, AZURE Virtual Desktop, CITRIX etc.
- Responsible for IT Asset Procurement process.
- Responsible for IT Software and licensing management.
- Responsible for IT Internet and billing.
- Responsible for IT Asset distribution and recovery.
- Responsible for drafting company's policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven working experience as a Senior System Administrator, Assistant Manager IT, IT Team Lead or relevant experience.
- Ability to manage a team in the IT department.
- Good knowledge of AZURE Active Directory.
- Office 365 administration.
- Configure cloud based Anti-virus console.
- Work on Sophos antivirus server.
- Hands-on experience in Asset and patch management.
- Hands on experience in IT ticketing and project management tool.
- Hands on experience in IT Audits.
- Good knowledge of Firewall and other security appliances.
- Excellent English Writing skills with grip on nonverbal (mail) communication.
- Problem solving skills; Ability to priorities tasks.
- Self-motivated, independent and meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Shipping knowledge is optional.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fair knowledge of networking & cloud services.
- Good memory of how software and operating systems work.
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
